<Analysis of an Adult's Response>
<24 hours of you>
I expected that an ideal day would be filled with more exciting activities, but I realized that modern students are pressed with daily tasks that an ideal day would actually constitute of a timeline where they get most of their work done without disruption.
I can know that 8 hours of sleep is ideal and that most of the day is spent on fulfilling the expectation of his job, which is a college student. By this, I can know that people wish to spend 1/3 of their day on sleeping, and that sleeping is the longest and most continuous activity that people partake in.
<Clothes>
Although I set a guideline that the participant can include accessories for this panel, the participant ignored this part and went for an extremely simple look of all black. From this, I can know that modern individuals want simple attire, and that they do not want to think much about accessories. This is understandable as modern casual attire is much more simple than that of Medieval Europe, and because most fashion companies are evidencing a decrease in sales whereas simple casual brands such as UNIQLO are extremely popular.
<Food>
I can see that this student wishes to sink his teeth in fresh seafood. I believe that this is the case because it is hard to attain fresh seafood in most urban areas. By the salad, I can know that this person is concerned with his well-being.
<Home>
By this illustration, I can know that this student cares about his health, and that he wishes to have no obstruction when it comes to his view as he wants all of the walls to be of glass. This is similar to a VR view as VR views provide a comprehensive view unlike a smartphone screen.

I was surprised to see that sleep is the most important thing that he would like to say to himself after 10 years. By this, I can know that he is probably sleep deprived at the status quo, and that he longs to rest and sleep more. Moreover, I can see that he acknowledges that sleep is good for his well-being.
<Create>
When I meant to use one line, I meant for the participant to use one continuous line to scribble all across the paper. I also expected the paper to include flying cars or futuristic inventions; instead, to my surprise, I was presented with a simple graph that shows his rate of growth in terms of success throughout the years to come according to him. By this, I can see that people are absorbed with the present and how the present will influence their direct personal future.
<Sensory>
Judging by the circled sensory experiences that the participant prefers, I can know that the participant would probably like rest in a neighborhood with fresh food and picturesque natural scenery. I believe that this kind of vacation scenery is probably what he would deem as a good dream if he could choose one.
<Dream>
By viewing his video, I could know that he ignored the guideline to make a 10 second video as his video is almost 1 minute long. He took more than 10 seconds as he needed to take the time to recollect his memories of the wildest dream that he had. By this, I can know that most people do not remember their dreams clearly as dreams are fuzzy since it takes place when we are asleep.
<Comprehensive analysis>
Via this cultural probe kit, I was able to learn that modern students wish to have more rest and sleep while busily pursuing their pathway to achieve their personal perspective of success. I was surprised to evidence that most of the responses were focused on the present state of his daily life, which is a college student. He wishes to be a healthy individual that pursues his dream with enough rest and sleep. When it comes to imagining the future, he focused on the future as a vague line that is directly related to him and his endeavors instead of a the community or society as a whole. Through this, I can know that he has his own “world" that is coexisting with the worlds of other people in the current state, and that he would utilize technology that would help him achieve his goals by fostering his well-being or allowing him to be more efficient when it comes to utilizing his time.

She drew a building, and when I asked her about the function, she said that she’s not really sure what the function it has other than the purpose of allowing people to utilize it as a conventional building. By this, I can know that she does not have a wild imagination about how the future will look like.
<Sensory>

By this almost 20 second video response, I can know that she cannot recall her dream clearly and that the craziest dream she had was not a pleasant one - something that she wouldn’t like to recall.
<Comprehensive Analysis>
I was surprised to realize that her response was not that different from the adult response. This was different from my expectation that she would mention dinosaurs, flying cars, or cities under water as those kinds of ideas are often brought up during elementary science imagination competitions. She does not have a wild imagination about how the future would look like when it comes to the community, and she is focused on her current and future well being. She also values rest like adults would.
